Vacancy in Oil Palm Plantation Company, GUNAS Group as Mill Manager, Estate Manager

GUNAS Group is a well established and highly successful diversified Group based in Jakarta having plantation in Sumatra Barat and Kalimantan. With the rapid growth and successful expansion program in the Kalimantan since 2004 with a land bank in excess 250,000 hectares, we hereby invite highly motivated and dynamic Indonesian/Malaysian individuals to apply for the following positions:

Mill Technical Advisor
(to be based at Sumatra Barat)

Criteria:
- Be mill advisor or senior mill engineer and have a good career
- Be able to provide Technical Advisory and to troubleshoot and fix all technical problem
- Should preferably have a recognized Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
- Work experience in Indonesia would be an advantage
- Able to work independently
- Reports to Chief Plantation Controller

Mill Managers

Criteria:
- Be currently a Mill Manager or Assistant Manager or Mill Engineer and have a good career track record
- Have at least a second Grade Steam Engineer Certificate of Competency
- Should have preferably attended and completed MPOGC/PORIM Course for Palm Oil Engineers
- Should preferably have a recognized Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
- Work experience in Indonesia would be an advantage

Estate Managers

Duties:
To be responsible in developing and managing +10-15 thousands hectares of oil palm plantations

Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years experience in related position in reputable oil palm plantation company
- Bachelor degree/diploma in related discipline /AISP/LISP
- Candidates with Indonesian/Kalimantan planting experience will have a better advantage
- Possess substantial experience in oil palm development from jungle
- Possess the capacity to deal with the development of “Kebun Plasma”
- Possess the capacity to work with the Indonesian local government, authorities in respect of land and its associated issues
- Possess the capacity to work with the local community especially where “Adat” land is involved
